hi, i have noticed as i'm sure everyone has a BIG drop off in the number and frequency of stories being posted. as we all pay to be here i thought i'd just mention this in a nice way, rather than get all shouty and kick up a big fuss. i totally understand that the level will drop as any that where stored up ready to go will have been published by now and we all sometimes have busy lives and can't spend all day writing very *friendly* person stories. however i think a little gee up does no harm. if the strain of keeping up a never ending number of suitable stories is a problem then please be square with us and i'm sure most will understand completely, its just nice to know whats going on. hope this taken in the right way!! I was waiting for this...
Like I said before, the past two weeks have been very busy for me and I haven't been able to be home very much. But, now that everything's back to normal, I'll be able to get back to writing stories on a normal schedule. I try to keep you guys up to speed if there's going to be any deviation in update frequencies, but I understand if you're wondering what's going on.
I'm going to finish up a requested story this afternoon actually. Then, probably another Wed or Thurs. I'll post them as they are finished.
Thank you for your patience! It won't go unrewarded! MrGrey

hi mr g,
as i say it was an observation that i would think has crossed the minds of most site users.
i'm the first person to understand being busy!!
please don't take any offence at me mentioning this, i thought it was worth clearing the air with respect to this tricky subject..
thanks for ALL your efforts!!

I've been waiting for my requested story for a while now (2 months maybe?), but I whould prefer Mr Grey takes his time with it so I can get my "perfect dream story" instead of just having rushed out. I dont want Mr Grey to get "burned out" either.
If he can average 1-2 full stories a week, I would be very happy!

I also hope that mr.Grey can get on track again and deliver the goods for this site, though I admit to being a patient man, and feeling sympathy for anyone who tries to run a whole story site on his own. The most important thing for me is that Grey keeps us informed about his situation, if things are working out or not. Communication, like his reply above, go a long way in keeping customers satisfied. I know I won't complain if he's going through a rough period.
I do have to honestly state, without wanting to declare war on Grey, that this is a paid site, and I think that a lot of people won't be satisfied with only a couple of chapters of an ongoing story a month.
That being said, I am not willing to judge Grey at this moment, for it is too short a time too judge how well he does. And I have every bit of hope that the updates will increase again, simply because Grey said so, and I have yet to question his words.
On a side note. In the belief that doing something is better than only whining. I'm planning on starting an ongoing story soon on the forum, following the outset of Danavery *friendly* person. so stay alert for that one...
Oh, and one final thing directed at Grey. Just as a sort of review of your current site-status. I think that the best material you've written thus far has been the requested stories. Not that the Camp-story is poor, but the requested stories have a sort of inventiveness and creativity over them which make reading every one of them a pleasure. You never really know what's it going to be. Because they're based on different people's ideas, every one of them has a sort of unique approach to the subject, and especially Ariana's At.Ad., bored-with.20., rumours, and barefoot contain some strong writing, some of the best since your older stories (what men look for in woman, still is one of your best in my opinion, expecially the first parts).
So concludingly. Maby, when time is short, you could prioritize writing requested stories.. Well, good luck any which way!
