Hey Grey I have another idea to benefit your members. This one is about your famous captions that you post on the Yahoo groups. As I'm sure you are aware when they first go up the members have a real hard time getting to check them out. Usually it takes a week for things to die down. So I was thinking why not post them here first. Let your paying members check them out for a week or two before you release them to a mass audience. Give us a little extra bonus for being members. Just a thought RR

Mr.Grey already explained that he can't post the captions on his own site, because the images used in them are copyrighted.

'Tis true... Poor MrGrey could get sued. But, I am going to brainstorm about some ways to get around the yahoo group problems. I might be able to host the images on this server, and then just link to them through yahoo. We'll see...

I might be able to host the images on this server, and then just link to them through yahoo. I'd advise against that. Of couse you are always open to a lawsuit by the copyright holder, no matter where you host them, but they are unlikely to find out - or care that much, if they did. However, by hosting such images on a server that is not owned and operated by yourself, you are also in breach of contract with the ISP that owns the hosting hardware - and they are rather more likely to find out and care about what happens on their own machines. These days, all ISPs specifically forbid unauthorized hosting of copyrighted material (it's point 16 in the Acceptable Use Policy of Everyones Internet, Inc.) simply to cover their asses in case of a lawsuit, but even without one they usually don't hesitate to terminate services to a violator, who puts them at risk of legal hassles and financial loss, in case of a lawsuit. After all, even if they can't be held legally responsible, the police would still seize their servers as evidence, leading to financial losses.
